It is a sunny morning in spring and Winnie the Pooh would like to go on a picnic. So he invites Piglet and Eeyore and they set off. They only begin to enjoy themselves, when they find that the wind is blowing rather hard around them. Soon, dark clouds rumble and it begins to rain. Pooh is puzzled. After all, Owl had said that it would not rain today. They huddle together to under a tent till the rain subsides.
Eeyore heads back home but Pooh and Piglet continue to stay and finish their picnic.
It's beautiful and they love watching the glistening rain drops on the leave.
It's a wonderful end to their picnic and they conclude that any day is good for a picnic (Weather or not!)
This is a simple yet charming story of Pooh and his friends and a great way to talk to children about precipitation and rain.
