He cuts out the pieces and leaves them on his workbench to sew in the morning. But the next day, he finds the most incredibly made shoes, with tiny neat stiches!
Who could have helped him make this?
Soon, a customer buys these shoes for a handsome price. The shoemaker is now able to buy more leather and once again, he leaves the leather pieces to be sewn the next day.
When this occurence repeats for days, the shoemaker decides he must find out who is helping him and thank the person.
To his astonishment, he finds that elves had helped him in his moments of need and he finds a way to thank them!
His delightful story is one that continues to thrill kids of all ages.
